RAILA IS THE REASON WHY NANE NANE FAILED.

The famed Nane Nane protests failed miserably as the turnout was meagre and we only saw people on the streets of Nairobi as other places shunned the calls. This proved that the Ruto-Raila deal was very effective in sanitizing Kenya's Kwanza government.

Many underestimated the magnitude of Raila Odinga and William Ruto's truce and how it has completely altered the political trajectory of this great republic for a few years to come.


Raila supporters are emotionally invested in him. Anything that favours Raila favours them. We are months away from 2025 when Raila will clinch the AU sit God willing. If this happens, Ruto will automatically benefit from Raila's support base. We saw supporters of Baba in Kisumu doing their business as usual. 

When interviewed, they said that Baba had not said anything about the demos. The whole of the Nyanza region was peaceful and this was a huge win for Ruto.


If this union goes to 2027 and Raila says Ruto Tosha, then the elections are as good as done. There is no more powerful word in the political space than TOSHA from Raila. His support alone can even make Ruto a dictator since there is no one like him, someone who can push the government back to the drawing board. His ''Tosha'' slogan slogan has seen bad and good leaders being elected just because he said so.


If Raila goes to the AU, leaving ODM inside the government will be very helpful for his party as resources will be abundant. He knows ODM needs to survive without him. What better way to ensure its survival than in government where the party has access to unlimited resources?

Raila, like always, has reinvented himself, ensuring his survival and that of his party. Ruto, on the other hand, always has his way. He has preserved his rule.

This is a lesson for the keyboard freedom fighters who think that numbers mean success. They should regroup before it is too late.

 WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF GEN ZS. Yesterday's protests sent out warnings to the tribal kingpins who have been using tribes as a way to lead that come 2027 things will be different.  WHY ODM IS JOINING RUTO TO SURVIVE. First, ODM was a national party, with 8 tribal representatives from 8 now scrapped provinces. At coast, it was Najib Balala, now coast is gone, it doesn't belong to ODM. In central, it was Joseph Nyaga, central nologer thinks ODM. In Eastern, it was Charity Ngilu.
