BABU IS MAKING A BIG MISTAKE.


Over the past one week, President Ruto has been traversing through the Nyanza region 'launching projects' and also attending the homecoming ceremonies of the ODM Cabinet Secretaries from the region. He has enjoyed massive suppport from the hostile ground and he even could not believe when he saw how the KDF or rather Kondele Defence Force welcomed him in the famous Kondele Roundabout.

This shows how the game of politics is . There are no permanent enemies but rather differences of personal interests.

Now , there was one character that boycotted the rallies enirely. Hon. Babu Owino decided to stay in Nairobi and support the ever changing Kalonzo Musyoka. In my opinion, Babu miscalculated .

 It would have been GOOD for Babu Owino if he attended the homecoming ceremonies of the Luo Mps in Nyanza. Why ?

Charity begins at home. He must consolidate home first before he tries to consolidate the nation. He should at least pretend to be with Baba until the right time. William Ruto took over Rift Valley from the grip of Moi without them knowing.

Every serious politician MUST start from somewhere. Babu is Luo, and at the moment, Luos are happy with the current political realignments. Babu is not, which is okay, but it is very dangerous for any politician from that region to oppose Raila or question his choices at this moment. He should FIGHT from within. ODM will field a candidate for the Nairobi gubernatorial race, whether Baba supports Sakaja or not. Babu is wise enough to understand that he stands a better chance to beat Sakaja when he is in ODM. Remember Tim Wanyonyi is also a formidable opponent that should not be underestimated. It is easier for Babu to take over whether peacefully or in hostility the mantle from Baba Raila while close to him than away from him. He should get back in there and fight from within. Him siding with Kalonzo will very detrimental in his political journey especially within ODM. He is moving faster than the syllabus. Babu Owino MUST weigh his choices. We are only 2 years away from elections, any tactical blunder, and you lose relevance for 5 years. People like Gathoni Wamuchomba will not help him politically. He should be careful of the likes of Kajwang who are always loyal to the party and never questioning the intentions of Baba.

 WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF GEN ZS. Yesterday's protests sent out warnings to the tribal kingpins who have been using tribes as a way to lead that come 2027 things will be different.  WHY ODM IS JOINING RUTO TO SURVIVE. First, ODM was a national party, with 8 tribal representatives from 8 now scrapped provinces. At coast, it was Najib Balala, now coast is gone, it doesn't belong to ODM. In central, it was Joseph Nyaga, central nologer thinks ODM. In Eastern, it was Charity Ngilu.
