AN OPEN LETTER TO MY LUO BROTHERS.


To the Luos who are abusing Mr Raila Odinga and joining other tribes majority of whom NEVER voted for Raila to insult him and wish that he fails in the AU.


It is your democratic right to do so, but let me remind you of a few things that should make you reconsider your stance about him.

Those who have always voted against Raila have always done so to spite the LUO community. Some took oaths to ensure we never rise to power. Sometimes I wonder how a Kikuyu can come and tell us that Raila is a political harlot. These are people who have never voted for him despite them benefiting from his support in 2002. Someone that doesn't believe that Raila won in 2007 should not tell us anything. 

When Raila fails, this patriotic notion you have with them will evaporate, and they will remind you how Luos can never be anything in this world. So instead of hurling insults, lets celebrate him for always finding a way to fix himself in the government.

They are telling you that his influence is declining so as to justify why you should join them in fighting him. They are lying to you. If he has no influence, how could he single handedly save Ruto? The so called tribeless and leaderless Gen Zs are now blaming Raila for their failed Nane Nane protests. He was never their leader so how can he be the reason for their failure ? Or is it that the moment he announced truce with Ruto, the protests died a painful death ?

 Remember, you have always wanted power, and they have always made sure we don't get it. Raila has another chance to be something, and they are now convincing you he is the enemy? Why is it that whatever Raila does becomes bad. If he keeps quiet they complain, if he speaks they complain, if he vies for presidency they still complain. We have to understand that Raila has his own interests na Kenya sio yake pekee yake.

 You saw how they attacked Luos calling us names when Raila made your sons ministers? That is the feeling. Unprovoked attack towards you because you are not supposed to be anything. Who said that Luos must always be in opposition and lead protests ?


If they really meant good for Kenya, those your friends would have made Raila president. They are not your friends. They are helping you to self-destruction.

 WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF GEN ZS. Yesterday's protests sent out warnings to the tribal kingpins who have been using tribes as a way to lead that come 2027 things will be different. And today was also  the same in Mombasa.  Let's wait for tomorrow where the ''finals'' will be held in Kisumu.  WHY ODM IS JOINING RUTO TO SURVIVE. First, ODM was a national party, with 8 tribal representatives from 8 now scrapped provinces. At coast, it was Najib Balala, now coast is gone, it doesn't belong to ODM. In central, it was Joseph Nyaga, central nologer thinks ODM. In Eastern, it was Charity Ngilu.
