MT KENYA ALWAYS PUSHING THE TRIBAL CARD.



For the longest time we've been trying to solve the issue of tribalism in our country with little success. Whether it's during hiring or development, tribalism has a major role in decision making.


When the president dissolved his cabinet or rather reshuffled the CS's , Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga said that the Mt Kenya region should be given 8 slots in the government. This of course was the will of his area counterpart Rigathi Gachagua.


It's with no doubt if I say that the Kikuyus are the ones who started this tribal profiling thing led by the first president Jommo Kenyatta after falling out with Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. 

It's said that oaths was taken by the people from the community which prohibited them from voting for a Luo leader and this was even confirmed by Martha Karua who said in a recent interview that her brother was amongst those who went despite being underage.


If you listened to Uhuru Kenyatta during his 2013 campaign, this was the narrative used to radicalize them from voting for Raila , despite the community benefiting from both Jaramogi and Raila.


In 2022 general elections, it's the same tribal card that made Ruto president.


Now, when you listened to the address made by the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua after nomination of the new cabinet secretaries, you'll notice that his only concern was whether his people got slots and he even said that he loves his "people" and this should be used to impeach him.


Imagine all the counties in Central province got a slot while some bigger communities missed out.


I would be happy if Ruto and Raila united to defeat the so called Mt Kenya mafia who always want to push the tribal card during elections.

The must understand that Kenya is bigger than one stubborn tribe.

 WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF GEN ZS. Yesterday's protests sent out warnings to the tribal kingpins who have been using tribes as a way to lead that come 2027 things will be different. And today was also  the same in Mombasa.  Let's wait for tomorrow where the ''finals'' will be held in Kisumu. The protests were led by the '' Young Kavirondo Tax Payers Association ''  popularly known as  Gen Zs who went out on the streets to protest against the proposed finance bill.  WHY ODM IS JOINING RUTO TO SURVIVE. First, ODM was a national party, with 8 tribal representatives from 8 now scrapped provinces. At coast, it was Najib Balala, now coast is gone, it doesn't belong to ODM. In central, it was Joseph Nyaga, central nologer thinks ODM. In Eastern, it was Charity Ngilu.
